Human Resources Manager - Hybrid location
Overview
Dexter is the premier manufacturer and distributor of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts and accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets.
We are seeking a self-driven, passionate, experienced Field Human Resources Manager to partner with and support our multi-site distribution facilities. This position is a hands-on role based at one of the following locations:
- Phoenix, AZ
- Nampa, ID
- West Valley, UT
- Wilsonville, OR
This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days onsite and travel to support the various site locations throughout the Western region of the United States

Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager supports various locations within their assigned area by engaging with leaders and team members and acting as a trusted business partner. This role will be involved in projects that touch all aspects of HR such as writing policies and procedures, employee relations, benefit administration, hourly recruiting, performance management, conducting new hire orientations and training. Strong previous HR Generalist experience is crucial for this position! More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related area.
- Minimum of 4 years HR Generalist or HR Business Partnership experience.
- Experience working in a multi-site, warehouse or distribution center setting is highly preferred.
- Strong generalist background with deep knowledge of legal compliance, employee relations, investiations, compensation/benefits, and change management.
- Able to utilize data and metrics for data driven decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to working a fast-paced environment & to handle ambiguity.
- Professional HR certification is a plus
