Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of HR, the Recruiting Manager will be responsible for the leadership and coordination of all recruiting activities and hiring KPIs/metrics for Talent Acquisition. The Recruitment Manager is responsible for partnering with the Director or HR to shape Dexter’s recruitment strategies, implementing innovating sourcing initiatives, and collaborating with Human Resources departments on compensation and benefits packages necessary to recruit talent. Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of Talent Acquisition
- Oversee and facilitate the hiring process
- Shape, document, and drive Dexter recruitment strategies
- Manage the corporate recruitment budget
- Develop, maintain, and communicate KPIs and metrics of the overall recruiting process
- Assist with filling openings by working closely with current clients and candidates
- Review resumes and conduct phone screens and in-person interviews with qualified applicants for both current and future openings
- Develop talent pools for frequently recruited roles
- Ensure our safety focused culture is part of the screening and onboarding processes
- Develop and execute diversity recruiting initiatives
- Oversight of compliance with all recruiting related laws, regulations, and internal processes to ensure compliance and consistent practices, including but not limited to job posting, interviews, background checks, pre-employment drug testing, ADA, etc.
- Enable and equip all Dexter recruiters with interview training and well documented processes and procedures, consistent across all Dexter locations
- Partner with HR team to ensure effective onboarding practices
- Build rapport with company leadership, HR partners, and potential candidates
- Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies
- Create internal university relations teams and develop university engagement plans
- Project manage key talent acquisition initiatives as required
- Demonstrate innovative thinking through continual improvement of our hiring practices and internal leadership communications
- Coach hiring managers on effective recruitment practices
Requirements
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of corporate business experience required
- 2 years of recruiting experience required
- 3-5 years of experience of management of staff preferred
SKILLS:
- HRIS and Applicant Tracking System experience is required
- Proficiency with WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and Microsoft TEAMS is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR laws and compliance such as EEOC guidelines, FLSA and ADA
- Demonstrated ability to establish successful relationships with colleges and universities for purposes of campus recruiting
- Experience of hiring from underrepresented groups, such as military and mothers returning to the workforce
- Ability to prioritize and set goals with a sense of urgency
- Ambitious and metrics focused

- Excellent communication skills that build authentic rapport with others
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with HR colleagues and hiring managers and utilize consulting, influencing, and presentation skills effectively
