Manager FP&A

Position Summary
- Prepare and analyze financial information and reports
- Assist with consolidation and analysis of monthly results
- Play an integral role in the forecast and annual budgeting processes
- Be a key business partner for the Operations, Procurement and Sales organizations
- Under direction of the VP, prepare financial presentations to DDG and Dexter Senior Management
- Develop financial models to support decision making of various stakeholders
- Develop relationships with multiple levels of business unit financial teams
- M&A due diligence support
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Report out results of key metrics/KPI’s to management
- Championing product level profitability analytics and reporting effort across business lines
Requirements
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of related experience in financial planning and analysis.
The selected Candidate must be a passionate and entrepreneurial self-starter who is willing to roll up their sleeves, engage, and approach the business with an owner’s mentality. He/she has a high energy and an enthusiastic, can-do attitude coupled with self-awareness, humility, and the ability to listen before acting. This individual takes a high degree of personal responsibility and has a strong work ethic. He/she is a team player, builder of good relationships internally and with customers and has a high level of personal and professional integrity.
Additionally:
- Recent distribution industry experience strongly preferred
- Expert-level financial modeling
- Expert-level ad-hoc analysis / decision support
- Solid understanding of manufacturing financial statements
- Experience in BPC and/or Hyperion preferred (Consolidation Systems) Need to know in write up.
- Experience in OneStream a plus (New system we are moving to)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Desire to take learn quickly and take on additional responsibilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Able to articulate complex concepts to colleagues and management
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
- Good conceptual, critical thinking, analytical, quantitative skills and the ability to problem solve.
- Must be self-motivated and function independently, driven towards superior effort and performance and the desire to work in a very dynamic environment
EDUCATION
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. A Master’s degree and international business and financial experience preferred.
