Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Position Summary
This position supervises and coordinates activities of departmental hourly employees engaged in operating a variety of machines and processes as associated with welding and assembling axles, brakes and other components. Responsibilities will include meeting all safety and quality standards, production demands, employee utilization requirements, and talent identification and development.
Requirements
This position requires an Associates Degree in Business or a related discipline, and 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must have strong communication skills, including the ability to produce clear written instructions and other business documents. Must have the ability to supervisor others, meet production requirements, effectively utilize manpower and meet quality and safety standards on a daily basis. Candidate must be willing and capable of handling employee and production problems in a fast paced environment. Computer literacy is a must for this position.
Preferred candidtes will have lean manufacturing & ISO expereince.
