Customer Service Representative

Position Summary
This position provides technical support to Dexter sales engineers, customers, and final consumers. Identifies parts for replacement purposes, pricing orders, fields customer complaints, data entry of new customer service purchase orders in TCM. Assist in preliminary technical support for product issues and escalates as necessary.
- Maintain and enhance customer services by organizing and evaluating service and delivery systems and procedures
- Communicate with other departments and management to resolve issues and expedite work.
- Oversee requests from customers by phone or e-mail
- Manage the daily workload to ensure required service volume and quality levels are attained, in a high transactional environment.
- Train staff in standard policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement solutions.
Requirements
· Previous customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment · Strong presentation skills · Thorough understanding of communication techniques and practices · Proven self-starter with initiative and motivation · Outstanding time management skills · Proficiency in multitasking · 3-5 years of experience in customer service |
