Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary
Reports directly to the Branch Manager and will be responsible for selling products to business, manufacturers, and individuals over the phone and at the distribution center.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Manage existing customer accounts.
- Handle inbound calls to convert to sales.
- Provide customer support regarding part numbers, pricing, and orders, etc.
- Introduce new products, product options, and help with replacement product.
- Prepares quotes for customers.
- Process customer purchase orders/orders by entering in WDS program.
- Bill customer accounts.
- Create bill of ladings using Transportation Insight and organize delivery paperwork for company deliveries.
- Coordinate shipment details based on delivery schedules internal and external.
- Investigate and resolve deliveries that are late, lost, or damaged for the customer.
- Coordinate and process returns.
- Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requires an associate degree in Business or a comparable discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Email communications and Internet proficiency essential. Computer and software experience or equivalent training to include some existing proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook required. Excellent problem-solving skills including creative and logical thinking.
